As a prerequisite for receiving your key or beginning classes as a commuter, you will be required to provide written proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours prior to the following:
You should make every effort to be tested prior to arriving in Rindge; however, those who cannot will be required to take a COVID-19 test on campus. Tests will be administered Sunday, August 16 through Wednesday, August 19. Those who choose to be tested on campus will be delayed in moving in until the testing can be completed. More details will be forthcoming. No exceptions to testing requirements will be granted.
In the event of a positive test for COVID-19, contact Student Affairs and do not come to campus. Any students who test positive on campus can return home (and return to campus only after being released by a physician) or be placed in a quarantine-designated location on campus.
You can have the test done at a ConvientMD Urgent Care location near you. Please fill out the following forms and bring them with you.
We ask that you self-isolate at home for 14 days prior to coming to campus. Please limit all unnecessary contact with anyone outside of your immediate family and do not travel if possible. We expect that all students also wear a face mask and abide by social distancing guidelines when interaction with others is required during this period.
Masks must be worn in all common or high-traffic areas, classrooms and when outside in groups of 10 people or more. While recommended, masks are not required in residence rooms. We are asking that all students arrive on campus with a sufficient supply of face coverings ‒ this should be one or two per day. The University will also have a limited supply on hand when masks are misplaced or otherwise unavailable.
