Franklin Pierce University is proud to announce that Rebekah Jean Hazleton and Leah Elizabeth Varney have earned the distinction of being named Valedictorians for the Class of 2020. These two outstanding undergraduate students achieved identical GPAs and will share the role as we honor our graduating class.

Franklin Pierce University is proud to announce the undergraduate students who have excelled in their disciplines and earned Honors and High Honors in their majors, as well as those who have earned special awards and recognitions for outstanding achievements. Traditionally these awards are given in an Honors Convocation ceremony on the Rindge campus on the last day of classes.

FPYS 2020 Recap

The Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics held the second annual FPYS on Thursday night. A virtual event this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the yearly awards show celebrated the accomplishments of each of the institution's 24 varsity athletic programs. Academic Showcase at Franklin Pierce University is a much-anticipated spring tradition, highlighting the scholarly and creative work produced by students and faculty throughout the year. This year, students and faculty are following the governor’s “safer-at-home” orders, and the 11th Annual Academic Showcase is being presented virtually rather than in the usual day-long campus event.

Franklin Pierce University continues to monitor the spread of novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, which was first detected in China and is now present in a number of countries, including the United States. These efforts will encompass our locations in New Hampshire, our center in Arizona and any planned activities or events, including study abroad programs.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King Awards honor spirit of justice and inclusion

At the awards ceremony on Wednesday, March 4, fourteen Rindge students received Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King Service Awards recognizing their commitment to service and volunteerism. Ayodele Ouhuru ’20, Carina Dillon’21, Kathryn Cunningham ’20, Victoria Vargas ’20, and Vincent Hall ’21 received Distinguished Honors and a $250 prize, recognizing the depth of their work toward justice and inclusion.
