Franklin Pierce University announced two new members to its Board of Trustees, Dr. Richard T. Pitts and Dr. Lynne H. Rosansky, both of whom were elected to the board this past fall.
"We are extremely fortunate to welcome two new Trustees who bring both talent and valuable experience to Franklin Pierce University,” says President Andrew H. Card, Jr. “I look forward to working with Rick and Lynne and benefiting from their knowledge and insights.”
Richard T. Pitts, of Orange, California, has been a distinguish leader in the field of emergency, preventive, and occupational medicine, and currently serves as chief medical officer (CMO) for the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC), in Colton, California. As the CMO, Dr. Pitts has been an active leader in supporting the medical center and the county’s strategic goals in providing quality health care to the community. Dr. Pitts has made numerous presentations and written on a myriad of health care topics. In addition, he has served on the board of the Orange County Medical Association (OCMA); has been President of the American Heart Association Orange County Chapter and OCMA; was an attending physician for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Wrestling venue: appointed by the California Governor to three terms on the state licensing board; established a network for NIH research with four universities to raise research quality at Arrowhead Medical Center; and has provided consulting and training to a variety of corporate and medical groups nationally and internationally. Dr. Pitts holds doctorate degrees from the Walden University and Des Moines University, and undergraduate degree from Chapman University.
Lynne H. Rosansky, of Antrim, NH, is a distinguished educational leader with a passion for international education and has extensive leadership experience across a range of academic institutions. Most recently Dr. Rosansky served as the Interim Dean of the College of Business at the University of New Haven where she led the school to develop a strategic plan and achieve accreditation. Prior to this position, she held positions at Franklin Pierce University serving as interim VP for Enrollment Management and Dean of the Graduate and Profession Studies Programs. Dr. Rosansky served as Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost for SIT/World Learning, Vice President for Academic Affairs at SUNY’s Levin Institute, and President, Dean and Professor at the Hult International Business School, formerly the Arthur D. Little School of Management. Dr. Rosansky received her PhD from Boston University and MBA from Babson College.
The new Trustees terms began on October 15th and are four years long.
