I remember my 3 years (1975-1978) at Franklin Pierce College as some of the best times of my life. Ended up transferring, but I would have been in the class of 1979 had I stayed.

Anyone from that time remember when about a dozen of us hiked Mt. Monadnock to get to the peak in time for the sunrise? We left about 3 am, hiked to the top, then to kill some time while we waited for the sunrise two guys did an excelent performance of "Who's on First?". The sunrise was spectacular. Experiences like that in life you never forget!

Anyone from the "Monadnock Moose" flag football team still around? Taylor, Jean, Rick, Tim, etc.

Hope everyone's well, feel free to drop me a note, dromard@optonline.net

Just checking in to FPC...back when, we all graduated, me just barely, when it was a college, not university. Still living in Fairfield CT, with wife, Louise and 2 boys, Trey 12 & Kenyon 7. Took the boys climbing Mt. Monadnock this past summer and showed them campus. Almost drove off the road with all the changes. Working to get an internet startup off the ground here in the US, iYogi.net. Check it out and let me know what you think. Keep in touch, yeah and I know I've got to get on facebook etc. one of these days.

Hi,
We would like to invite any FPC / FPU alumni in the Bergen / Passaic N.J. area to walk with our son’s team (CAPTAIN THOMAS, JR) to CURE JUVENILE DIABETES. Our son Thomas was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in February of 2007, a month after his 4th birthday. He must endure 10-15 finger sticks a day to check his blood sugar, and insulin needles at every meal just to survive. He is a real trooper, and very rarely complains. We’re doing this walk for him and the millions of other children with this disease.
If you would like to join us or donate you may register online at JDRF.org
The team name again is Captain Thomas, Jr. You may also contact us at TSBetsy@optonline.net. The walk information is as follows:

WHEN: Sunday, October 19, 2008

TIME: 9am

WHERE: Medco
Franklin Lakes, NJ

*Remember insulin is not a cure!

Thank You,
Shelley (Robertson) Betsy ‘90
Tom Betsy ‘89
