Gay / Straight Alliance
The mission of the Gay / Straight Alliance is to pursue equality in a safe university setting, to promote understanding, and to reduce prejudice and fear towards gay men, lesbians, bisexual men and women, transgender people and those questioning their sexual identity. The GSA seeks to educate the Franklin Pierce community about the issues that face these constituencies and is committed to creating a safe, confidential environment for those who would like to learn about themselves in a comfortable, and supportive environment.
Recent Events
Campus events have included a lecture by Danny Robert's from MTV's Real World New Orleans, a meeting with Bishop Gene Robinson, a showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and a Winter Ball.
